Red House is unique from almost all other building companies in that we are one of a very few worker-owned, cooperative building companies in the nation to date. Red House works on a broad range of projects, including construction of new homes, additions, renovations, light commercial fit-ups and historic restorations. The scale of our projects range from heirloom estates to simple home service visits. We work with a similarly broad range of budgets and are skilled at calibrating to the needs of the job. We also provide Project Management services on certain types of jobs that need professional planning, organization and oversight such as substantial landscape construction projects or jobs that may be more remote than our standard working area. Most of our work is within a 1.25 hour radius of Burlington; however, we make exceptions at times based on certain project criteria. We are conscientious about our building approaches and bring sustainable building practices to all of our projects to the extent feasible. We have a long established track record of constructing high-performing homes with exceptional energy efficiency and continue to learn and stay current or ahead of building trends.
